Your Tasks for Klagenfurt

*Lucien Calls everyone to his haven for a meeting*

Klagenfurt is going to be our top priority so I have task for everyone here to help us improve this great Dukedom.

I will be arranging a tournament to try and attract a capable warrior to employ as a knight under one of my Barons. Rafael I would like you to use your Resources and knowledge of trade/commerce to arrange a bazaar while this tournament is being held so we can profit from it as well as possible find a fitting warrior for us to make a Knight. It is my hope to be able to keep the bazaar active after the tournament Rafael so please plan this accordingly and arrange for a wide variety of goods so it attracts many people beside just warriors, I want a scholar coming in hopes of finding a rare tome or scroll, A soldier/warrior in hopes of find a good deal on a sword or armour, and peasants coming for common trade and possible performers coming in hopes of making money off of them. Of course we will earn a profit for any merchant or entertainer that wishes to be at the bazaar.

Sokrates for you I would like you to try and attract more scholars to the Klagenfurt, I believe the simplest way would be to create a great library or center of knowledge. I will allow you to decide the best course to take in attracting more scholars though.

Antonio though you managed to get my letter to Laibach, your fleeing when you and their knight where ambushed has caused many to view not only you but all of us within this dukedom as cowards and they are demanding you be punished for simply fleeing and not offering aid since one of there knights had been captured cause of it. I have acquired another baron and you will be pledged as his knight so I will leave that decision up to him, I suggest the first chance you get to explain your side to him you do.

As for your task it is no secret that in a years time Klagenfurt will host the next gathering and I want use to be ready. I want you Antonio to Fortify our defences, I want you to build outposts so we can have advanced knowledge of threats or any kind of force marching on Klagenfurt. I want our gathering to be as secure/safe as possible in one years time Antonio.

You jest correct. Because it sounds to me that you feel as if I'm in the wrong.
I will not sware to this new Baron.
And if this is such a huge issue how about you deal with it accordingly. I did as you asked without question. I swore to you as a courtesy after your social dealings within the fair courts of triest most sane dukes or even your underlings would be ashamed to call you Duke.

I will be unavalible as of shortly for some time if you wish to give me orders I will consider them.

OOC) Side note concerning this. The more downtimes people are willing to put into these things the better the outcome. Multiple people can contribute to them. For instance if somehow you all decide to contribute both your downtime actions to these events it will rise in stature and the benefits rise with it.

Sokrates instead of focusing on the Library I say we make a war strategy/philosophy competition as part of our Tournament. This way we have the same attraction solution but draw more attraction to the tournament and even the market. I ask that we all focus out efforts on this Tournament and making it a success.(OOC: if you guys can and don't mind please focus both your down times to this tournament)
