Proclamation from the Papal Legate Peter of Capua;
The heretical teachings of Brother Edric of the Church of the True Cross have been investigated by a knight of the Templar order and have been found true. Upon the further review of Brother Edric it appears he has been fostering a Brotherhood of the True Cross within the walls of the church. It is known the Holy Trinity is to rule over all mankind and God nor Jesus is to rule before the other. Let this be a warning that your very soul may be in the balance should you fall to such wicked beliefs.
Brother Edric and his followers are to be purified in the Holy fires of God.
Grace be to God.
*Three weeks after gather this proclamation makes the rounds. Two nights later Brother Edric and his whole order are taken to the square in Trieste and burnt at the stake*
