Results of the Ard Rhi visit

As some of you are aware that attended the visit to the Ard Rhi it would appear that he does not care what we do to each other as long as Triest is left alone. 

The attempt to blood bind me,
the open insults to one of your knights
the refusal to allow us to tend to our members without their supervision (also includes testing of the blood on Gunner)

All of these were met with 1 phrase,

"Treat them better than they treated you"

I consider this an act of war against our Dukedom from Trento and if the Ard Rhi will not act or even acknowledge any wrong doing on this then we must act to ensure our own survival.

I, quite frankly, am rather disappointed with the results of our visit as well. It would seem that all the Ard Rhi DOES care about is Trieste. I feel almost cheated to be honest. I understand that this is something that we have to deal with, but at the same time, one would think that he would be concerned about how the other dukes act in HIS DOMAIN. Oh well, I suppose it just goes to show that we can't rely on anyone else for help. That being said, I do believe it would be a good idea to keep Trieste allied with us. Father Balaam seems capable of much as their leader, and it would be better to have them for us, then against us.

As for treating them better then they treated us, what does he think we are? Mortals? It's a dirty business the one we are involved in, and it is a well known fact that actions speak louder then words. So sure, I will treat them better, but you best believe that they will pay for their actions one way or another.

I completely agree that we keep Balaam allied as it will be nice to use him as the Ard Rhi appears to like him far more than the rest of us.
