"Oh, a great many things. The Whoresons that populate Liabach, the gutless curs that infest the Free City, the latest judgment from our High Duke that defies all reason."

Alfonso pulls out one of the crossbow bolts from the attack last gather and sets it on the table.
"This was crafted with wood from a very special grove in Laibach, and was enchanted with magic. You are an intelligent man Duke La'Chard, surely you can see what has happened here."

Two things are possible, the most likely is your try to manipulate me but Laibach feigning all of this is a possibility. Very few would suspect Laibach of faking all of this. Laibach is trying to manipulate things and is doing a rather poor job at keeping there actions private and has done something very stupid."

Lucien's brow deeps as his glare on Alfonso hardens
" I don't need your blot I made sure to acquire one at the gathering. Your plan will fail and cause a back lash on your dukedom Alfonso, Right now the Ard Rhi has scorn for both our domains but seeing as be went through the hassle of acquiring my blood boon from Balaam I know he has a plan in motion. Even if I did think it would work I do not have the many power to do what you ask all my resources and that of my barons and knights are tied up into my grand tournament I am hosting before the next gathering at KLAGENFURT. If you invade laibach or attack it in any way the might of the Ard Rhi will fall on your heads. Alfonso you are a capable soldier and so is Raetus but from what I have seen you two lack subtly and tact."
" Say a certain gangrel is declared Forsaken for false allegations against my high clan knight, Raetus could also throw in a forsaken and if Gunner says anything then he would be declared blood hunted in my domain. Well then he free to kill and of course Laibach will defend him but seeing as these are dangerous times and we would of course have both dukedoms full forces outside protecting the gathering we would have the upper hand would you not say."

"With all due respect your Grace, the Ard Rhi will do no such thing. If he seriously expects us to do nothing he does not truly understand our kind. If we were to simply lay back and take this insult without answer we would prove ourselves to be kindred unworthy of service to him.
He will suspect of course, but that matter is handled as well.
While my Duke will be disappointed to hear that your men are unavailable, he will be glad to hear that our interests align. I will speak with him about the Gangrel.
Balaam signed his own death warrant with this outrage. He will be slain."
