Ahhh that is good to hear Father. Trieste does meet the needs but..... how can i say this. Locations that meet the requirements are delicate. One place is an Estate that is owned by a wealthy family. I could take it through various means but it may be bloody. The other one seems to make us tied by Fate as i believe the Convent of Black Magdeline is yours.

So, why Would acquiring the Estate be Bloody? Does your Clan not have Riches to Purchase land? Or would it not Also make Sense to utilize Vitae to gain Control of the Mortals? Once you have Permission, of course...

My superiors were very clear that i am responsible to acquire one of these sites. They also expect me to fail. I am trying to sort out a way to not have that happen. Do you know of any one that may have dealing with the upper class? that could convince these merchants to sell, or perhaps you could be swayed to sell your current location? Politicking is not one of my strong suits.

Those under my ... Charge would need an Adequate replacement location, which would be Just as Difficult to Arrange. Or Moreso. Holy Sites are probably more Rare, especially one that would need to Fit our Purposes.
What can You tell me of this Merchant, this Property? Is it a Large Estate, or merely a Portion thereof? It would be easier to Convince a Merchant to erect a Structure, than to Move Altogether... Where does this Merchant's Riches come from?
What are you offering? You've already Traded one Minor Boon with me to get this far. Whichever Cainite helps you Get your Property will need Payment, the Merchant will Need Payment ... what does the Witch of Endor have to Secure his Ambition?
And, where will Your Alleigance Lie once you have this Built? How will you Keep in Contact with your Shrine from Laibach?

this is what i know.
The Estate is owned by a merchant family. One of the wealthiest in Trieste. The estate is at the S.W. corner of town on the clifs overlooking the ocean. It appears that the merchant has a small cover with a dock and enough space for one mid-sized ship. They are wealthy enough to have had the city walls built to extend and connect tho those he has had built around their estate.
I would see if there is someone that could make an introduction, maybe they have use for someone of my skill set that could trade for that building. Or the entire house hold goes insane, and spirits appear. I would like to take an approach that doesn't involve rocking the boat too much, but i will burn that building too the ground if need be.

I know you State that You are not Strong with Negotiations ... which May Fare poorly in future as You move Forwards within Your Clan's Courts, I presume. As we Sit and Discuss this, I am contemplating Several other Avenues of Action you Could take, subtle and not 'rocking the boat' as you put it.
What are you Offering the Cainite who Assists you? Meeting the Merchant would be a Minor Boon, any other Actions though Would Require more. Purchasing Land in Trieste would require either a Larger Boon to the Doge, or your Pledged Citizenship.
Then there is the Subject of What happens After you get the land. Will you be Heading the Shanty? Or will another Member of your Clan be Taking Over from You at that point? Any Tremere will need to be Pledged Citizens of Trieste, with all the Responsibility that Entails.
I respect that You do not Want to Rush those Negotiations, deal with what is Immediately in Front of You. Take it as Free Advice, then, from a Seasoned Negotiator: Always Play The Long Game. Some may let you get Close to your Target easily, only to Increase Their Demands when you are therefore more Desparate.

ooc sorry i was just dealing with some IRL stuff.

I have been tasked to aquire such things, I do not want to Head the building here. I would guess the Pyramid would assign someone here that would suit them better. Now i could say that as i am the only Tremere in the land, having a focal point for the clan in your city could give you an edge on everyone else. Except for Libach of course. I am sure any that come to your city would follow the edicts here.
