Q: if we were to hold combat in The Surrounds (since we were not able to complete all challenges at the Tournament) how would we resolve that via chat? Would we message STs our RPS results, and they reply with our list of success/failures?

Sts or a third party should be fine, so long as both sides trust said third party. Or just like in the gather, the opposnents could discuss OOC and come to an agreement about the victor, i suppose.

That could work, except if it was a grudge match it'd be RPS. Doubt anyone would agree to lose a grudge match

I am highly dubious of any "combat" on the board. If there is any "combat" it must be an agreed upon outcome NO DEATH and NO TORPOR. The board is more for RPing and advancing plots and would prefer combat to take place at game face to face.

As I presumed. Thus I sought clarification on the purpose of the Surrounds Board.

IF it is tournament challenges that need to be finished then each player can send me 10 tests with a basic description (2-3 sentences) of what powers they would use and willingness to spend willpower and how much they had left at end of game. How much blood they had left that evening or how much they got and from where.
I will run the numbers and tests. And post a scene description of the results in the Here ye section.
There will be no Torpor, no Death. It would be more to complete the evenings events from the tournament so if there is no obvious winner after those tests Chris and I will compare notes and thoughts on the character sheets and pick the one we think would win using available powers. Trying to be as fair as we could.
The results would be just that the results.
A dramatic result for game story.

I'm sure we can find another in-person way to handle them if need be.

Since the tournament is done then it can happen anytime.
Just set it up at next gather and do it all IC. There is nothing that states you can't wander off with someone or challenge them at game.
