The slum city on the outside of the walls has been moved closer toward the wall. The city guard started moving the mortal population with minimal effort and very little push back. The land is being cleared with rumour of a watchtower or guard post to built in the area. The only person to put up any fight was an old soothsayer who said the spirits of the land need not be disturbed.

Work continues.
A deep foundation is dug and once the bedrock is reached stone is quarried from within. The stones are used to solidify the portions of the foundations within the lower levels.
Wooden scaffolding begins to rise, rock and mortar are being laid. So far the guard tower is 40'x 40' and 2 stories high with what would appear to be 2 stories deep and a well hole in the center, probably tapping a natural spring.
As the seasons progress a 3rd story is added before massive 2' x 2' solid hardwood beams are laid to top it off and crenelations built.
Mostly rough hardwood is now being brought inside to begin the interior.
A area next to it seems to be marked off for a stables but has yet to begin construction.

Two individuals, a Merchant and a Soldier (recognizable as a squire that was at the Shield and Safety) by their dress appear at the building site. Organizations begin. Farmers, children and the poor of the slums start bringing in field stones of all sizes. The largest being set to one side.
Following this several large hardwood trees are felled and stripped of their branches. A foundation is dug, stones laid and support timbers in extreme number are used to build the internal structure of this enormous stables and training yard.
The Barn looks like it should be finished sometime in June on pace with the tower.
New City forces have begun training under a notable city watch commander and are in preparations to move into their new barracks/post.

Seen consulting with some of the architects and what could be assumed to be a servant Antonio periodically pops up. He comes in the night to oversee the tower he has funded and then leave, returning to the Shield and Safety.
