Forces Arrive In Trento

A very large force estimates put around 5000 Imperial Guardsmen arrive in Trento. The mortals assume they are marching towards the great crusader conclave in Venice. The force has garrisoned the city walls and have started large patrols into the surrounding country side. With the larger forces the mortals speak of an elite unit of Greek mercenaries within their ranks.

Cainite authorities from Venice however are speaking of their sovereignty and how their boarders must be respected. Others say this is a punishment from Didaskalos on Duke Raetus as he is starting to take direct control over the territory.

[Rule Hound]

It has been reported that in securing the area the Guardsmen have been harried by several large wolves and wolf packs. As yet there has been no major encounters between wolves and the Soldiers. Mostly the less guarded draft animals of the trailing supply train have been savaged and killed.

Unfortunately the panicked draft animals have caused great strife in overturning wagons, falling off roads causing wheels and yokes shafts to break.

One week before gathering the Elite group of Greek Mercenaries depart Trento heading back to Didaskalos's court.

The Imperial Soldiers, though still present are now allowing traffic into and out of Duchy of Lombardy (Tridentine). Just in time to allow any Cainites to depart for either the Crusade or the coming Gathering in Laibach.



Note: there is not time for anyone to travel there and then still get back to the gathering. Sorry, one way only until after game.
