Lantern
Here is what they know from past Downtime actions
You do learn of two mystical objects once held but lost to the Order of Hermes. One is a lantern that is enchanted, when lit with a special candle the combined magics are said to bind all souls to the radius of the light.
The ritual to create the Candle and components is said to have once been created by the Order of Hermes and may still be present in the libraries. The Candle casts a circle of protection vs evil.
The Lantern when lit with even a normal candle is said to keep ones spirit from leaving the body and promote the knitting of flesh (healing).
The last known existing candle and the lantern are said to have been lost in a great battle against evil. From what you can piece together it refers to the fall of Carthage.

I am unsure why they think this will help them stop frenzying from hunger. lol
Anyways, what specific properties do you think we should give it?
Also, still need details on the thaum wand thing how it works and so forth. Spend xp/downtimes into enhancing it and it adds bonuses to a particular thaumaturgy path?

Lantern of Hyperion The Lantern of Hyperion is a level 3 Relic it is a steel lantern painted with obscene glyphs and eldritch runes. When ignited with a Candle of Atlas level 2 Relic it casts an unnatural purple light. It illuminates all spirits, demons and fae in the beam even in the physical world. Possessed individuals or those hosting a demon will also be illuminated although the shadows they cast reflect the nature of the spirit inside them. The lantern has a hypnotic affect on spirits, drawing them to it like moths to a flame. When the light is used to illuminate a corrupted area a ten foot circle of protection is cast around the bearer of the lantern. The lantern can be used to “purify” and area of corruption by burning a whole candle within the area. Lantern Powers When held- The bearer of the lantern gains +2 wildcard bonus against frenzy tests
- The bearer of the lantern gains +3 wildcard bonus against demonic powers
- The bearer of the lantern gains +5 wildcard bonus against being possessed
Lantern Powers When lit with the Candle of Atlas- Spirits, Demons and Fae can approach within 5 steps (10') of you
- If any of the above enters this area or are already in it they are forcefully ejected to the edge of the light radius causing 2 aggravated damage, and 2 more aggravated damage per round to spirits, demons and fae who touch the diameter of the circle of the lantern
- The Lantern does not prevent such creatures from using ranged attacks or powers
- The any shadows cast by the lantern shows the true form of the individual whose shadow it is
- If a new Candle of Atlas is lit and allowed to burn in its entirety without going out or being moved, the powers will resonate and completely purify the most tainted areas of most corruption. (ST discretion)
When lit with any Candle Bearer and mortals Heals at double rate.
Old - before modificationThe Lantern causes 2 aggravated damage per round to spirits, demons and fae who touch the diameter of the circle of the lantern. The Lantern will show in the shadow of those possessed or in an untrue form their true nature The Lantern will heal 1 lethal per round or 1 aggravated damage every 3 rounds

Candle of Atlas ~6" high - 1 part wax of the Honey Bee
- 1 part blood of the faithful (True Faith 2 or higher)
- 2 parts the ashes of a ram
- 4 parts the tallow of a stag
- 2 parts the earth of sanctified ground
- The wick woven from the hair of a virgin women braided with that of a white unbred Mare
If burned on it's own it creates a sterile environment in the area that the scent covers and keeps insects at bay. Large tent.
