Healh nods, shifting to a chair, his wounds apparent as he sits. "Yes, It has been a curious state of afairs... " Healh grimaces as memorys dance past his mind. "What has happend in this part of the world since I was away? I read a notice that I am no longer bound to a dukedom?" His face looking older somehow as he talk. "Did trento fall to ashes? And as for you, have you sworn to someone yet? Or do I still have chance to sway you to help me?" Healh rests his staff beside his chair.

"Reports from Trento have been sparse. Imperial forces are occupying it at this time.
Duke Raetus and Alfonso made fools of themselves at the Ard Rhi's court. Alfonso was released from his oath to Trento. Raetus claims Alfonso confessed to assassinating the Herald of Gaul, while Alfonso denies it and implicates Raetus as being the guilty party. Neither pressed the issue, nor provided proof, so Ard Rhi Didaskolos has agents attempting to clarify the situation.
Klagenfurt was also implicated in assisting Trento to harass Triest and Laibach. Duke Galanzia was able to clear his name, but does not know who may have provided assistance."
*grinds teeth*

I would join her in Triest if I did not have to worry about the threat of usurpers... Have we heard from my brother in arms, Nunzio?" Healh pulls out bandages and starts binding his wounds, his hands gentle and quick to the task. "A note to you, I was attacked on the roads out of Laibach, The usurpers had tried to Bond me to their blood, but My will prevailed, Hence my wounds."

"Mother Isis and I were both concerned of such events with the Usurper.
From my understanding, their presence in Triest should not be a concern. The properties they coveted have been claimed by those not willing to part with them.
And, as Defender of Triest, I will neither trust nor tolerate anyone who bears the reputation 'Usurper' with pride."

"As for Nunzio ... I have no real news. I have heard he's been seen attempting to sort out some of the chaos since Duke Raetus has gone into hiding. Details are scarce, however, so until we actually see someone from Trento in the flesh I don't believe we will know more of what's going on."

"You wouldn't happen to be aware of any of the accusations towards Trento? Whether the former Baron you swore to was ordered into being involved with any of these events?"

"Jaak, all I can say is that if my baron did something, it is because he was directly ordered to. He is a man of honor, and follows his orders." Healh frown. "If Baron Alphonso did do it, it is because raeitus ordered him to."

"That was one of my theories. If the former Baron committed this deed, I do not believe he did so solely of his own volition.
If the former Baron is innocent, then I presume he was targeted due to his upcoming Crusade giving him clemency.
