As mentioned at game, there is a conflict of schedule with the Masons for Saturday June 25. Right now we have 3 options all were open last time I spoke to the hall managers.
1) Linn Valley Hall. It is small-medium in size (about 1/2 the size of the main area in the basement of the Masons Hall) and located in the area directly behind Dentoons/Blue Grass nursary (just across hwy 2 from NW edge of Edgar Industrial Park). It has a covered veranda outside, a fire pit and tons of private green space and a kitchen. If we can locate one we were thinking we could maybe put up a portable gazebo or some such. The Draw back is that it is more expensive than our normal hall.
2) Oriel Park Community Hall. It is a small hall, their main area is just over 2 tables (like the ones we normally use at game) by ~ 2.5 tables. In addition there is a board room with a table in it and a smaller storage room that we can make use of. There is some green space and trees which is part of the Oriel Park Elementary school yard where we could set up a portable gazebo also. The Draw back is it is small. The bonus is that it is cheaper than our current hall so would allow us to add to the kitty which I would use some of it to purchase some more props (probably wood wall paper similar to the stone we use now, and or some standing candelabra with dimmers I am looking at making for more lighting). Location is top of the Taylor Drive Hill, turn left, right and you are there.
3) Serge has offered his back yard. I have not seen it but am told it is quite large with a fire pit. Again we could set up a Gazebo. The Drawback is he lives in Sylvan Lake. The bonus is that it is free, thus allowing us to add to the Kitty for more props.
