DT1: As the spirit inside Galahad seemed to react to the lantern in very much the same way that the wraiths did, I am going to try to bind / torment the spirit in him using the Sepulcher path level 2/4. Possibly summon various wraiths and using them to attack the spirit. If we can use the acquired XP from the last game and If I have the usual 6, I will use the 9 xp total to purchase Dead Hand (lvl 3 of the Ash path Necromancy) to try to use the the lantern from the other side of the shroud (I can pass items back and forth - I won't let go of the lantern on the other side, just push it through and see the results).
Necromancy: 12
Combat: relent
Raqa's tests: R, P, S, R, P (Loss, Win, Tie - no bonus)
Our Tests: P, R, S, S, R
Galahads Tests: p, p, r, r, r (prprp)
Our Tests: P, S, S, R, R (Tie, Loss, Win, Tie - No bonus)
Results: After the death of "the Sheriff of Portugal" if that is eve who it was. Galahad finds his thirst lessened and a little easier to control himself. The two of you begin a regime of tests and experiments. When you reach the Lantern into the Shadowlands you find that for the most part little change or specific notice from wraiths or other spirits.
While in the Shadowlands the lantern does not do anything.
Galahad, as you take your hand off the lantern and hand it to Raqa you feel fear rise inside you, is that the hunger rising again? You barely manage to keep control of yourself avoiding both the fear and the hunger.
Raqa quickly performs his experiment and you quickly take it back once he is done. Raqa calls forth wraiths but they avoid coming near the Lantern or crossing through it's physical location on either side of the shroud.
As the experiments and Occult tests go on you begin to feel like you are gaining more control over your actions. That you can feed without devouring everything. Through Raqa's rigorous testing and experiments you discover that you are able to expend blood and wait for a time before filling up. You do not automatically frenzy when your blood pool is low.
Raqa. You are not quite sure what or why but somehow it seems that contact with this lantern has been healing Galahad. The longer he is in contact with it the more he seems to regain his old confidence and control. You can find no trace of spirits within him.
You are thoroughly convinced that through your experiments and passing the lantern through the shadow lands you have managed to free him of his evil.
Raqa Bonus: Knowledge of exactly how the hunger was alleviated
Galahad: New vitality and confidence in himself. One free Frenzy retest can be used before, after or in place of a willpower to resist frenzy.
ST Note: the hunger was fading anyways but due to the lost and tied tests they believe that they did something occult wise to fix him.
