Kay, second downtime...researching the gems, with focus on making an item to help identify future beings harbouring one of these gems. Taking supreme precautions when handling said gems. Never touching them directly, always using tools and only when necessary.

Result: Amon Kaa spent the first year of the crusade wandering your lands, gathering up the supplies and ingredients from the corners of your territory. Owl,s eyes, cows blood, rock viper venum, special mud, lava stone, various minerals and so forth.

You begin your studies of one of the gems, taking it from it's jar. Applying various salves, liquids, acids and mystical rituals and research. Try as you might nothing seems to come together.

After returning the stone to the Jar you take a break from the frustrating and unrewarding work you decide to play and work on your bracelet a little. drawing a small scaple across you finger and rubbing the blood, thinking of other mystical stuff you happen to drip a little vitae on the table near the recently resealed gemstone jar. As your vitae hits the glass of the jar you feel a ripple in the "force". Then all is well again.

Refocusing and wondering how you could have missed such an obvious connection you come to believe that these stones are similar to your empowered Bracelet, at least in the way that they focus something and enhance it. You are pretty sure you are on the right track and can now begin working towards finding a way to channel the force empowering them. You know that if you were to die your bracelet would go inert. Thus if these stones are somehow still active the creator/empowering force is still out there.

Bonus: Blood with focused willpower seems to directly activate them.
