Forge is attuned to a specific character. Extreme heats and hammers/tools that would challenge a mortal to wield.
Level 1
+2 wildcard bonus to tests when crafting
Level 2
1 Free retest to any Craft: Forging, Armor Smithing or Weapon Smithing test can be used in place of a Willpower test (only 1 retest still allowed) When crafting within forge
Level 3
You are able to make modifications or repairs to an item not in your repertoire with a skill equal to your Forge lvl or primary craft level (which ever is less)
ie. if you are a weapon smith you can repair or modify armor at a level equal to your highest forging craft specialty. If you have Craft: weapon smith x 5 you can repair or modify armor (not forge new) with a skill of Armorer lvl 5. The parent armor has to be of suitable quality to improve, adding or modifying traits with a skill you do not technically posses adds a difficulty to the test of 2 x craft level of item. Also the item being modified can only ever be raised up one level from it's original craft rating. Item must also be a registered item with ST's (on a card from ST's).
If you had enough skill, adding a trait to a standard lvl 3 craft breastplate to make it Artisan (lvl 4) would add 8 to the craft test (but it is possible).
Level 4
1 Free retest. This can be used before, after or in place of a normal Willpower retest. 1/item craft test.
Level 5
You have perfected and formed your forge into something the gods would envy. You have built a smelter that gets so hot it can melt previously unmeltable metals.
You are able to draw forth a liquid metal from a stone found in the hills. You have no idea what it is but when used to forge an item it adds a strength and durability to it that has before before been seen.
Your swords stay sharp and do not break with elder Potence. Your breastplates are not so easily pierced by the properties of low level Potence. They resist the Armor Piercing ability/trait on a static test and a win. It can loose twice before loosing this trait.
