Notes on your return to Klagenfurt
As you return to Klagenfurt you notice that the fields are not in as good of shape as they should be. Almost as though they are only half haphazardly tended. Fences are falling to disrepair, upkeep in yards is poor.
Geese, Goats and other livestock seem to be doing well however. Having taken advantage of broken through fences they seem to be eating and sating themselves on the crops that are now coming up.
You pass several caravans that are camped for the night. Most are heading towards Klagenfurt. By taking a peak you notice that most of them are carrying luxuries and rare delicacies. Things that made life worth living when you were mortal. Fine carpets probably looted during the crusades, art, silk, spices, salt, strange and exotic animals...
The city itself is in not much better shape but at least the taverns, ale houses and brothels are bursting at the seams with mortals soaking in the pleasures of life.
OOC All threads get locked when time changes take place, this is to help keep a cohesive record of events as they occured without having to search 5-10 years worth of posts in one thread. So basically every year. But most domain threads are left where they were for reference

Well, liege of my liege, I fear the assassin's blade in the dark may come sooner rather than later. I have heard many troubling rumblings of discontent over the seemingly weak state of our lands and holdings. I now fear events transpire to remove you from office by subtle means if possible, but they may move openly if pressed. This is probably not news to you given the frankly disturbing ordeal I witnessed at gather. I am happy to see that you yet live and walk among us, as last I saw you were being taken away to an uncertain fate. What transpired afterward? Are you yet whole and unharmed? Will this require retribution on our part? I suspect this merry band of plotters planned a similar fate for Tyr, as he was last seen bursting through the stable walls and fleeing in full frenzy. All of Laibach were present, as was the Setite, and they claim infernal activity, but I have my doubts. Also, Lord Etrius of the Tremere arrived unannounced and proceeded to berate Ricchar for his failure to capture a node of power in Trieste. He ordered Johan to strike Ricchar, and stated that Ricchar had until the next year to succeed or Johan would kill him. So the Tremere agenda would appear to be laid bare for all to see. In such perilous and uncertain times it seems our lands are in dire need of attention and I believe we must shore up the weak spots in our domain lest the wolves at the gate prevail. What would you like us to do? I stand ready to serve, as always.

i ask you inquire with a wraith as to attempting to locate what was stolen from my chest. Knowing very little about raqa i know there would be few people he would entrust with this especially if he seeks Control of our fair lands.. he may be using wraiths as well to hide it in the other realms. I Know very little to almost nothing of these things, however you ask of the abyss and I can share for ages.
As for our lands, apparently I need to scold the one I left in charge while we were away and start by redtoring what has been lost and dammaged by thr slaughters that have transpired and ensure our lands hold rich crops for our people. Do as you wish on these matters.."
He removes the stake and lets it fall to the ground as a shadow begins to seal up the hole in his chest.

My lord, normally I would not be so crass as to inquire into your business, but I must ask, do you have any compulsions of worth on any of the other dukes or persons of worth in the domain? Perhaps some remnants of our spoils from the tournament? (ooc: preferably a blood boon or higher, multiple majors will also work, I can combine them. I have a possible strategem to suggest for you if you have anything suitable. You'll like this if we can make it work. Trust me.)

Not enough tomcombine past major unfortunatly
However a minor is enough to cover some of the year if I'm not mistaken, I've meant to divide amongst us the boons from the tournament.
Personally it is the same. I do not hold allot over anyone a couple majors but nothing of real note. A major on the doge of triest. I'm doing what I can to increase our silence within our borders as it is something that is nessesary right now.
It is difficult to keep.to the standards of the other dukedoms especially when they have more members than ourselves.. finding new members would be a good suggestion as well, possiblly pulling from Trieste and it's plethura of members.

Ah yes, that is what I feared. I suspected that no one would actually put forth much of consequence in the tournament, to the tune of minors across the board I imagine. I wonder if Baron Rafael has anything of use.

Apologies for my absence. I am at present in the Shield of Safety and can return if needed, I merely maintain the duties of my office on neutral ground for the benefit of all. But we have other business to conduct there as well. Baron Rafael and I will seek out the merchant prince Deamos Rivanna to see if we can procure a blood boon on Duke Raetus, which I know he possesses. We shall then give this to you, and I intend to dissolve Duke Galahad's chains of fealty with the Ard Rhi's special decree at next gather. The decree frees the individual so named from their allegiance, but his or her chain of vassals remain under them. They are required to reswear allegiance by the end of the gather. When I do so, stand ready to use the boon on Raetus to force him to use the blood boon he holds on Galahad (which he purchased with the boon on himself) to force Galahad (and by extension all the Barons and Knights of Laibach) to swear allegiance to YOU and Klagenfurt. I am sure you can appreciate the irony here. In one fell swoop we can unite the majority of the domain under our wise and benevolent rule. You might even use their talents and labour to improve our domain as it so desperately needs. If all goes accordingly to plan, this will be a devastating blow to our enemies, who so crassly thought to court me as your replacement last gather. They clearly know little of blood and honour, and I would see them laid low for it, all in lawful accordance with the traditions of our kind.
