Nicomedes Petras of Clan Brujah, Prince of Gaul, sworn vassal of Ard Ri Didaskalos.
The first time his name strikes the records is shortly after the Hun invasion of the Gipid Kingdom as a strategos to King Ardaric. There is enough evidence to suggest he was the leading noble the help guide the the King into revolt against the subjugation of the Huns.

Coming into the service of Didaskalos in 1102 provides our next insight into what we a dealing with. After coordinating the assassination of his rivals for power in the region and consolidating his power base he thought he was ready to be a free ruler. A lone rider was sent from Didaskalos to Nicomedes nothing is known what the terms were but Nicomedes decided to accept Didaskalos as his overlord.
