Trieste struck by insane storm. Combinations of conflicting weather patterns seem to have collided shortly after sunset creating a extremely potent but apparently localized storm in Trieste.
On a hot summer day the weather suddenly turned clouds boiled in from the harbor with a water funnel striking the N.W. edge of town, destroying the de Zernio estate leaving the entire grounds destroyed and the city wall in rubble. Other Tornadoes struck the Convent of the Black Madeline leveling it to the ground. Fortunately for some the tornado seems to have turned at the last minute from the inn but not soon enough to spare the nearby watch tower. Hail the size of large Olives struck the city killing those foolish enough to be outside after dark.
