I am pointing out that this is the 4th year that Mother Isis has been Doge.

The position of Doge is one based upon merit, and as such the Citizens of Trieste are to ensure they are being represented properly. Every 4 years, we must either re-pledge to our current Doge, or select a new one.

If you agree to Mother Isis maintaining the title, say so here and we can waive formalities. If you have another Low Clan member in mind, or are a Low Clan and wish to express why you feel you would be a better choice, feel free to speak up now.

Fia would like to run for Doge. There have been reports of dissatisfaction with Isis' reign and Fia feels she could improve upon it.

Fia, I appreciate your decision to earn the leadership of the Free City.

As you admitted, there is not much time with which to discuss the merits that each of you can bring to this position. Therefore, I am sure each of you would like the opportunity to properly explain to us why you should be chosen.

As most of us shall be at the Gather, we will be watching how each of you conduct yourselves amongst the Court, and look forward to having discussions with you both.

Yes, I withdraw my claim, but urge Isis to consider a little more action in her next few years. Less talk, more do.
