I am thinking that to make it a retainer it should cost double the xp? and it would only get the base stuff and anything he can get with new focuses.

And it will be down to lvl 5 when I send it out. Lvl 4 the next downtime and so forth.

Slowly healing with it's own blood but because of that it is unable to maintain it's retainer lvl.

Or instead of double xp maybe just 5 xp to make it a lvl 1 retainer to start. then normal to raise it?

What I am sending to Raetus

As you study the Wolf you are truly impressed. You are pretty sure that he is mostly natural. That he comes from some rare blood lines that have somehow mutated causing the Huge Size. Based on what you have heard and that the Wolf of Gubbio has been tales through history you are pretty sure he comes from the same line. He is extremely Tough and durable. You wouldn't be surprised to have seen this thing battling it out with a Grizzly Bear in the wilds and possibly winning. His hide is thicker than normal and acts as a natural Armor. His legs and entire body is condensed and over muscled,  his legs due to their size and what you saw on the battlefield he is both Fast and Agile. Testing him against other animals you have noticed that when it comes to fighting he is also very Vicious. 

He is Undoubtedly an Alfa Male

The Wolf has also been modified however, exquisite workmanship you are not fully sure what was modified, what created, what was enhanced and what is just natural evolution. Except for the Claws which are obviously modified to deal damage even to Vampires.

As you study him you notice that he is slowly healing even the most grievous of wounds. But at the same time he is diminishing, his size is slightly decreasing as the weeks and months go by. He is/was obviously a Ghoul/Retainer. The size decrease could be due to a lack of his regnants blood.
