This is a excerpt from a old VtM book called “Dark Ages Companion”. It is a good role-playing suggestion for how to act when your character enters a rage frenzy.
Roleplaying Frenzy
A vampire under the thrall of her bestial nature is not the most calculating of opponents. Although still capable of thought, a frenzied Cainite is unlikely to rely on tactics any more complicated than tearing apart a foe's armor and burrowing through his chest to find the heart.
Some players dread frenzies, feeling the loss of control handicaps their ability to role-play their characters – after all, a frenzied vampire is no longer guided by her conscious personality. Worse, succumbing to frenzy is obviously detrimental to a Cainite's already blighted soul. This dread of such a loss of control is a matter of taste, however; just because you aren't role-playing your character in her usual rarefied sensibilities, you aren't condemned to having no fun.
When frenzy hits, role-play it for all it's worth. Ignore crossbow bolts slamming into you as you smash the Baron through his oaken door. Forget leaping for the mounted man-at-arms – hurl his horse to the ground and rip him to shreds when he lands next to you. And if you find yourself at some sort of tactical disadvantage for your actions – what of it? The Play's the thing, and it is far better to make the game more enjoyable for the troupe than to timidly refrain from doing anything that might cause your character inconvenience.
