The Merchant council has finally begun the task of rebuilding
After several months of arguing and disagreeing progress can be seen in the rebuilding of Trieste. Lands are being cleared adjacent to the former Convent of the Black Madeline in what appears will be a new estate, though no actual construction has begun yet.
The walls and much of the inner city that was damages has been repaired. The former de Zenaro estate has had the rubble cleared away and it looks like the city is going to expand both the outer wall and the small harbor at the base of the cliffs.
Talk is that the Trieste is going to be building a College Making Gaul an area with the highest population of Educational Colleges and Universities and Libraries in Europe compared to population.
