With the low production of the crops, the peasants are begining to eat their seed to stay alive through the winter. Many of the older animals have been slaughtered to feed the wealthy crusaders in the months following their arrival, yearling livestock are now all that are left and slowly dwindling as they to begin to find their way to the feasts.
The Library has all but closed it's doors as production has decreased to one book every few months and many of the staff have followed those from the University out of Klagenfurt to richer areas.
It is a poor time in Klagenfurt and no one seems to care except the Crusaders who are now beginning to feel the crunch as their fortunes are disappearing as fast as they were made.
