Citizens of Trieste,

After much deliberation and consulting with several of you, I have the heavy responsibility to request that Mother Isis step down as Doge of Trieste.

Mother Isis has seen this city through some troubled times, and has fulfilled many commitments on her end. We honour and respect her for her efforts.

Times change, and so do the needs of our city. A Doge needs to be strong in the face of adversity, and protect the interests of her Pledged Citizens. A Doge needs to be trusted by all who are pledged to her. A Doge needs to represent their Pledges and their Ard Rhi. I believe Mother Isis no longer meets the expectations of the Free City of Trieste.

For this to be official, two of you who have supported this notion need to make your opinions public here.

I have been asked to represent Trieste as Doge in her stead. Know that I take the responsibility seriously, and view it as a service, not rulership. If you ask it of me, I will accept your pledges.

I support the change of leadership and Jaak as replacement. I agree that Mother Isis has fulfilled her duty and hope that she will continue to aid Trieste, but it is time for a change in leadership.

A change in Representation does not negate the fine works of the previous Doge. The commitments made to Clan Nosferatu and House Tremere were commitments made with Trieste, and shall be upheld by any future Doge who represents us.
