Since Gunnar collected several artifacts on route here (and their disappearance if they were church ones not hard to learn about) I am thinking that when he leaves his private meeting with Raetus and the others that he get a private message from the bartender.
"Master Gunnar, as per the agreement you made on your return trip I await in the XXXX room"
Then we can either screw him and have it be someone else (even Galahad in disguise....) like a infernal that has figured it out because of the sword he gave away or one of Peter of Capua's actual envoys. Either way they are looking to collect ALL the artifacts he has thus far collected.

Another evil add on. Donahue seeing a opportunity sends a mortal huntsman (infernalist) to help with Gunnars lodge. Lvl 4 retainer tied to the lodge. Can not be taken abroad. Gunnar will think he gained the support of this individual through his test successes. Retainer x 4 (Animalism-lvl 2, Survival, taxidermy, Archery) Infernal gift - 2 rituals (Vessel of Transference & sanquineous phial) Everyone who comes and stays at Gunnars lodge has a pt of blood taken each time they stay (via vessel of transference during the day). Also, he collects a personal item from each person and Cainite that can letter be used to track them or some such thing. A bunch of hair (good thing it grows back before a Cainite wakes... a dagger, anything he can get. No actual harm comes to the individual so they just have a dream or nothing at all when he does this.
