Retainer raised to lvl 4. You have 5 xp left
Downtime 1 & Retainer/Konrad
You work very diligently trying to improve the image of Konrad among the people trying to make him a public figure. You succeed in a way that was not expected (You botched/tied/failed every test).
You swoop in working among the people in the early pre-dawn hours and Shortly after sunset. Unfortunately your presence and aura are causing the peasants to be on edge.
Utilizing Sepulchral Beacon and Veil Mastery you are able to strengthen the veil for short periods (say about a week at a time) in areas and detect other breaches. Creating more stable pockets within the chaos that is occurring and reducing manifestations in the area.
More than once you have been spotted working your brand of "devils magic". But the good news is that they seem to run and get Konrad. He comes whooping in and playing to the crowd putting on a good show and beating you away in what appears to be a epic battle between good and evil.
So ultimately his image and presence among the populace increases despite Raqa's test failures.
The locals attribute the calming of ghostly presences and manifestations to him.
In one instance when again he is summoned to deal with the "dark happenings" in the woods things go a little wrong. In the midst of your castings there is a flair in the chaos across the shroud. The reflection from the other side destabilizes and rips to shreds as a new foreign image replaces it burning your shroud sight out for a few weeks. Unfortunately the timing and Konrads arrival to battle the evil one works against you. Your efforts to strengthen the veil in this area end up weakening it in the extreme causing a rip/tare. You manage to fix pull it back together and repair the damage leaving it weaker than it was but to do so you had to knock Konrad out by hitting him and sending him flying off into a building in the emergency of sealing the rip. (your path may have enjoyed watching the results but you know it would have severely damaged the Kine around here thus reducing your food supply and possibly making you a target of wraithly forces)
Downtime 2) not processed yet. you can change this or leave it as is prior to next deadline

Your retainer ends up meeting up with Rafael's and using it to his advantage your retainer follows Rafaels instructions on distribution. But quietly makes sure his name is always associated with the improvement in the area.
Here is what I sent Rafael, yours is just a different perspective of the same thing.
Pulling together you influences and resources and working in tandem with your Retainer you manage to locate a flock of sheep that is being sold off from down the peninsula and a bunch of seed grain. You have the sheep transported as close to Klagenfurt as you can. Your retainer then picks them up and guides them back to Klagenfurt where you arrange for breeding pairs to be delivered to farms around the county and seed grain to others. On route he meets up with a man who is becoming famous for his exploits around Laibach (you are pretty sure this is someone elses retainer) he happens to be be in the lead of a large herd of cows and goats with cages of chickens on their back. In addition there is more grain and vegetables.
Joining forces and using the zombie herders the two of them, under your instruction manage to bring hope and some modicum of prosperity back to the area and Duchy.
Though the happiness and wealth of the Duchy does not actually go up from what it was in the past you manage to keep it from dropping as much as it would have due to recent events
