When getting ready to leave Trento you receive a message that within two months you will be expected to travel to Trieste. Seek out the one legged, one eyed sailor known as Two-Thumbs. He can be found at the "Sirens Beckoning" he has a permanent room there. He will instruct you further.
You can utilize the cover of assisting or preparing the way for Ricchar.
Using astral projection when you are in a safe location several days latter it is not hard to locate the shady inn/tavern and "Two-Thumbs". There is nothing strange about his hands when you find him but there is probably some story behind the name. Anyways, you wait and watch for most of the night until a few hours before dawn when he drunkenly retires to his room where you manefest.
"Shit and leaky bilges yous scared me."
As he says this he seems to instantly sober up.
"Damn I hate hav'n to do that. Wasted my entire night O drunk'n"
"Yous the landlubber I be wait'n for I'z think'n. They said yous might come as a landbound ghosty."
"You gave'm whats they needed and two ta boot. Whenz ya come ta town leave early on yer lone. Ye wills be met near the old guard tower. You will be shown where ta go and yer gifts will'a be waitn".
The time comes and you head to Trieste under what ever reason you choose or secretly if you so desire. YOu head to the old fallen Guard Tower next to Jaak's inn and are met and guided to the woods near by. You are shown a tunnel and told to head in.
At the end of the tunnel you find and Egyptian mummy looking individual with a staff. You heard descriptions of him from those who went on the Crusade, supposedly destroyed but then seen again latter.... Bound next to him is the boy child, still alive though seemingly comatose and the gagged priest/cardinal/bishop (can't remember what he was) from Trento that you turned over to the wolves.
You notice through Auspex that he is a Cainite not an undead mummy. He speaks in a Deep rich powerful voice that bespeaks power, authority and command.

he switches to another language

then another

Looking at you and seeming to let out a dusty breath of resignation

You feel the force of a great will push at your head until you accept the telepathic connection. You get the knowledge but not quite through a common language more a sense of your thoughts being guided, images and such. The only word that is clearly impressed on you is Bezekiel a reminder of who your true master is (not him).
"I have been instructed to guide you through this ritual. You should feel blessed for this. Know your masters name beyond doubt Bezekiel he is a god among any kind, far above us in our original tainted form. Through him you can rise in power. Serve him and his goals and you can reach great heights. Fail him and he will take your puny soul from you and call his payment due. But you can become truly great, remove the stain of Caine from you and become greater than ever imagined. Even final death can be circumvented through him."
"Many thought him dead or banished but he is the greatest of all. Such petty bindings can not hold him."
He goes on and on telling you about what can be gained from the infernal. Instructing you about both lesser demons and the ways of cults. You are instructed to never let it be known or to speak your masters name to others that do not serve him. You are implanted with a Conditioning that if ever questioned you will name some other demon or avoid referencing his name at all if in conversation with others that bring it up. You have gained Lore Infernal x 1 and Lore Demons x 1. This would let you, if you so chose, to come up with a fake cult and attribute a particular demon (not Bezekiel) to it and use them as a decoy. Enough to tie other events to more minor demons distracting others from the real threat that is your master. If you decide at some point you want to.
"Now, clear your mind and watch as I imprint the steps."
He imparts a number of steps that involves laying out certain symbols in what is similar to a casting circle used by Raqa or Ricchar but still different. You start with the "Mummy" watching over your steps, correcting you if you make any mistakes. This process goes on for near a month preparing. The Mummy periodically leaves and returns with food for the captives and humans for you to feed upon. After about a month of preparation you feel pressure building at the site and you are feeling great pride in your obvious accomplishments. The circle and preparations are complete and you look to the Mummy for more instructions. He again connects to your mind and you see the manner that you must sacrifice the pure. You are to slowly torture and flay the child over the course of a week, polluting their essence through ritualistic callings upon Bezekiel. You are then to remove the childs head from neck. Placing it in the center of the casting circle you are then to begin work on the True Faith Priest. Carving a succession of 13 symbols into his skin, letting them slowly drip and bleed. One symbol one night then the same symbol is to be written onto the skull the next night in the blood from the Priest. The following night another symbol into the priest and then the night after the skull until all 13 symbols have been marked out over 26 days.
On the 27th day you are to recite a incantation and calling upon the dark powers your Master calling him to imbue and tie your gift to the others.
At the culmination there is a huge flash of dark power and the skull turns black and begins floating in a dark flame in the center of the circle, much like you saw in the Church of the True Cross (game 1).
You feel the Mummy force his way into your thoughts once more. You "hear him" speaking what you determine to be Egyptian congratulate you on completing your first step on the journey to greatness.
He pushes deeper and you can feel him working something within your mind, as you look inward it is almost like a hellish green flame is burning and creating new connections. Your knowledge of the Egyptian language becomes complete (gain Linguistics Egyptian), you feel more intelligent (gain Int focus in addition to Wits), due to your work on this ritual you have a greater understanding of Occult (gain Occult x 1) and the Lores Demons x 1 and Infernalism x 1.
In Egyptian "You are forbidden to use the gateways to travel as yet unless instructed to do so. Find a way to further the Master in the world, protect his coming or enable it without risking him or his designs. Others may assist you or call on you when needed. But be careful."
With a flash you find yourself on the road with your horse on the East side of Laibach (opposite side from Trieste or the crossroads).
OOC) You have several options for furthering your own storyline and tying it to ours. We would like some ideas from you on how you would like Galahad to proceed.
Possible idea, you are not limited to these feel free to come up with more or some of your own a) You can stir up and create distractions to get people chasing their tails and thus freeing up others to work Bezekiel's designs while those trying to stop him are looking into the wrong things. b) You could assist others in their goals and quests only to undermine and sabotage them c) You could attempt to rise in rank and become something like a portal master. Someone who may eventually be able to not just create or move them but who would be responsible for coming up with ways to protect them from those seeking to destroy them. d) You could work to learn what others are doing and set events up to make it look like they are succeeding while they are actually failing (ie. you know they are hunting infernals, you could work on setting up a fake cult to some minor demon but ensure they have enough knowledge to make it seem like they have been tied to other events. then let them get captured as a diversion. You could make them think they have been dealing with someone else (pretend to be another Cainite, then layer it. They all think they were dealing with Morrigan but one remembers seeing her shift into the semblance of Jaak or vice versa or anyone you want to frame) do this type of thing over 3-6 games always suggesting back to the same person ultimately and then there is multiple sets of evidence showing guilt....) e) You could actually start setting up mortal cults as influence around Gaul to accomplish various nefarious goals. f) find any kind of niche you want and we will help you accomplish it and get there.
For now if you find a goal or something you think will be really cool you may find other infernalists willing to assist you and thus grant extra downtimes into it. If it is a really big goal you may ask for help and present the idea to the Mummy (whom you find you can contact if needed (just don't pester him).
The more you can accomplish on your own through downtimes and your own character sheet the quicker you will rise through the circles and the quicker and better the powers that will be offered to you. Same with the cooler the idea or goal. With the right combination of help and cool goal you could rise pretty fast.
Ideally we would like you to come to us with ideas from here out. ANYTHING is possible (except bringing other characters or players into it). Try us out and we will see what you can accomplish. If you get creative enough we might let you mostly run your own small plot among side ours and determine some NPC reactions to PC actions as they try to deal with it.
But for now, think on where you might want to start.

I was asked to help Gunner locate artifacts around Gull and bring them to him. I think what I will do for now is work towards this goal but replace the artifacts with replicas that have some residual radiance of true faith to pass off as a believable knock off. Im not sure what he is wanting all these for but im sure it has something to do with countering the infernalists. I would contact the mummy and instruct him of my plans and ask if he has any specific desire for these true faith relics?

You publicly head out to "search for artifacts" in assistance to Gunnar. You make a grand show briefly entering Klagenfurt only to learn that Inquisitor Samual has been there. You are escorted into a room that holds an enormous bed, though the curtains are drawn. From behind it issues a voice. You feel relaxed, with no particular drive to do anything at the moment but to luxuriate in the warmth and luxury surrounding you. [In a slow, almost drowsy voice] Child, I wondered if you would come my way. We are everywhere and the master provides as we serve each in our own way. Many have been playing in my garden but long ago all was settled. Even at my slow speed things get done over the years. The list you were provided is years out of date, perhaps had the fools acted on it when they received it they might have got there first. I am not the sort to go gallivanting about. But we have yet to travel south on the east side of the Ardrianic. But even as I am unmoved to actively chase information it is moved to come to me. There are several Pagan sites and legends in Croatia that suggest items of faith. The founding of Zagreb itself speaks of a woman who could divine water showing a starving man where he could scratch the earth to draw forth the water that now sustains it. She was some occult creature that gave up her powers and place so as to marry this man. I have had word that the cloth used in her hand fasting has been used from ruler to ruler and remains hidden. Find the handmaiden of the rulers wife and she can lead you to it. While there seek other legends. The power we draw on does not require the faith of the cross nailed god. It is actually arrogant and foolish of these Christ followers to think so. Was he around when Carthage stood? Seek these legends learn what and where the items may be found. Use this knowledge vaguely to gain the trust of those in Gaul. Prepare fake items, lead a expedition next year to gather them up. Swap them out using your Dominate to make the fools believe they still hold what they found. Bring back the cloth and keep it safe until called upon. Here, take this.
Get the original and bring it back. provide this to the pathetic Gangrel (Reeve) as evidence of your discoveries. It holds the soul of a creature and will show all signs of being a true relic.

Oh, one more thing. If you are to succeed in crafting forgeries you will need more power than you wield. Fortunate for you our Egyptian friend has been careless lately. Over valuing his place. Just because he is the only one who was around for the battles in Carthage does not make him more valuable. It has been decreed he fall. You are to be the one to end him, drink his soul once he falls. Make sure you are part of the battle that will ensure and you are nearby when he falls. Wrapped in the hand fasting cloth you will find a small wooden charm that looks like a wagon wheel. Crush it in your hand and concentrate really hard on the scene as you would like others to remember it playing out.
Let me help speed you on your way. Travel into the woods in what was the public park behingd Antonio's Keep. There is a tree with a barked over carving in a heart that shows "B + Z" behind the main bench. Sit on the bench, hold your hand over the carving and concentrate really hard on Trieste. You can find transportation there to Zagreb.
You leave and the farther you get from him the more your energy returns, you are less sluggish, your mind sharpens and you are able to think on your own more freely.

Encourage her to take the lead in setting up a quest to get more, you can then slip in and fund it but swap out the artifacts as they gather them (in downtimes).

He was there before any of them and they are jealous of his power. Through what ever means they have convinced Nicomedes to intercede with Beziekiel to hinder him. You surmise that Nicomedes is the head of the Infernals and was somehow corrupted around the time of the fall of Carthage or sometime there after. If what you are piecing together is correct this Egyption was around before Nicomedes was turned and as such would answer to Bezeikiel directly and only superficially to Nicomedes (good reason to eliminate him in Nicomedes eyes). Anyway, they still need his power so you are basically given the means and order to end him and diablerize him. By concentrating and crushing the wheel you essentially are making the combat scene end however it actually ends in game (or everyone believes that is what happens). What really happens is he falls, you crush the wheel, diablerize him, but they beleive it was how it played out. You diablerize him behind the scenes while everyone else thinks they are the ones who kill him. I can explain more and do this at game with you. The other knowledge you gain that you can share is that there was a infernal locked away, he was to powerful to destroy but they chained him in an enchanted sarcophagus that could not be opened. Keyed to the infernal powers of his master he would be locked away indefinitely since his master was destroyed (supposedly). Then locked away behind arcane and mystical wards and a secret society of mortals set up to guard this site for eternity
