Many craftsman completing their work on Castle Bassano have turned their feet to the fringes of Lambardy finding money flowing for skilled work.
An old borderfort guarding the pass of Neverman collapsed in an unfortunate accident. New craftsman have been called forth and construction of a great stone longhouse has begun on the same location. Stone and exotic woods have been flowing from the quarries and through Tridentine to the construction site.
It is said that Wolves attacked through fog shrouded mountains, attempting to destroy and drag away the laborers. Under the quick organization of a Skilled huntsman a small defensive militia was formed and able to defeat the silver furred Wolves.
The huntsman is said to have slain one of the largest wolves seen in Lombardy barring the one rumored to be a pet of Castle Bassano's lord, with but a single arrow shot skillfully through one eye.
Huntsman Malek says the beast has been skinned and his hide is tanning to be set on display for the Lords Longhouse when it is complete.
